Preschool 1 - The Explorers

The preschool years are a time of great creativity and social growth. At Go-n-Play, preschoolers learn through a variety of stimulating, hands-on experiences, all designed to support their development and growth– and make learning fun! In each class, you can find a variety of learning centers, encouraging children to be creative and have fun while working in small groups. Our learning centers promote cooperation and allow children to make decisions about how they'd like to learn and play.

Inside Your Child's Day

  • Circle time where the children learn the pledge of allegiance, talk about the day’s weather, the calendar, and what we will be doing for the day. During this time we count 1-100, count in Spanish, work on number recognition, work on letter recognition, work on shape recognition. These are just an example of the learning activities throughout the year.

  •  We continue with basic concepts, pre-writing skills, learning how to spell and write our own name.

  • Each week we have a new theme for the children to learn, discover and explore through arts and crafts.

  • Assessments to track your child’s academic development toward kindergarten readiness.
